#53: Strickler Planetarium – Jeri LaMont & Steve Case

I hate to burst your bubble but The Big Dipper is not a constellation of stars. I know, shocking, right? I learned SO many things while having a conversation with both Jeri LaMont and Steve Case of Olivet Nazarene University’s Strickler Planetarium. Having a planetarium located in Kankakee County is a pretty cool thing. I think it is something that we as Kankakee area residents take for granted. I know I haven’t been to Strickler Planetarium since I was in first grade in 1996 or 1997. As you can imagine, a lot has changed since then.

So what do you say we all get together and plan a trip there soon? Strickler is open to the public and they also host private showings as well. Start planning your trip to the Strickler Planetarium today by visiting https://strickler.olivet.edu/.

Thank you, Jeri & Steve for being on the podcast! It was an honor to meet you both.

Much Love,

Jake LaMore
