CSL Plasma Now Accepting Plasma Donations

Kankakee is now home to a new CSL plasma donation center. Located at 725 N. Kinzie Avenue, the building sits directly next to CSL Behring. This new center will provide residents with the opportunity to donate plasma locally, and therefore, provide life-saving medicines to individuals living with chronic and rare diseases. 

A need for plasma donations is always present as plasma donations are used to produce therapies that treat conditions like immune deficiencies, respiratory disease, hemophilia, and other bleeding neurological disorders.

Those interested in donating plasma must meet certain criteria, including: must be at least 18 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, and have no new tattoos or piercing. Qualified participants must also meet additional eligibility and screening requirements along with holding a valid ID and permanent address.
